How ESG is Changing Finance
8-9 a.m., June 23
Environmental, Social and Governance considerations are increasingly being used to evaluate corporate performance – both current and future. Join us for a session with Lucy Godshall and Mark Weick from EY, who will discuss the latest buzz around ESG: what it is, who's asking about it and why, and what this means for companies when it comes to corporate reporting and finance.
Lucy Godshall is a senior manager for EY’s US sustainability consulting practice, supporting clients with ESG strategy, implementation, and governance, as well as corporate ESG reporting, metric development, and impact measurement and valuation. She previously spent more than six years in the UK and Europe and began her career as an environmental economist, helping EY to develop its position on natural capital accounting and acquired extensive experience in ESG and non-financial performance metrics. More about Lucy here.
Mark Weick is a managing director with EY Climate Change and Sustainability Services, focusing sustainability strategy and the circular economy. Previously, Mark’s 35 years of research; product development; environment, health, and safety; and sustainability strategy leadership for a Fortune 100 company included more than a decade of directing sustainability and enterprise risk management. He led a sustainability strategy that created more than $500 million in documented value between 2015 and April 2021. More about Mark here.
