Virtual Lab: Parenting & COVID-19

Parenting & COVID-19
Many working parents today are home with children while trying to stay on top of their own job responsibilities. Most days we manage to do it with grace and a smile on our faces, but the reality is that many working parents are drowning. They feel like they are failing as parents. They're spending little to no time on self-care. And some are simply leaving the workforce - no longer able to keep up with that superwoman identity that has been thrust upon us.
In this lab, you will learn:
- - How unconscious bias impacts working parents - especially mothers - before and during COVID-19
- - Strategies for navigating virtual work, homeschooling and child care
- - How managers can support teams - and themselves - during this period of virtual work
