Description

Four Critical Skills to Improve your Relationship

Based on 40 years of research in how people get along together, John and Julie Gottman have identified the four critical skills to increase understanding and reduce conflict in any relationship.  In this workshop, Karen Robertson, who has trained with the Gottman Institute, shares these four skills and the secrets to mastering them.

Karen Robertson, LMSW, is a psychotherapist, mediator and consultant in private practice in Grand Rapids, MI.  Her area of expertise is in relationships and her passion is to help people improve the quality of their lives through improving their ability to relate to themselves and others. After retiring from a Fortune 100 company where she conducted organizational assessments, training, leadership coaching and team building, she earned her MSW (Masters of Social Work).  She has since worked with a wide range of individuals and couples as an EAP clinician, psychotherapist, and mediator.
